- Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Specialists for Infants, C
Location of Appointments

All initial assessments/consultations are required to be conducted at the physical address unless otherwise negotiated between the client and the Director. Initial consultations are scheduled to be 55-60 minutes duration. Subsequent consultations are scheduled to be 55-60 minutes duration. Should a client require a consultation to be extended beyond this time-frame, the bulk-billing fee may be unable to be applied, requiring the client to fund the session by way of cash payment only. With a Mental Health Care/Treatment Plan, the client may then choose to apply directly to Medicare for a clinical psychology rebate.

Home visits and other venues (e.g. schools, community locations and/or non-government agencies etc) are able to be accommodated on an outreach basis, however, may incur an additional fee to cover travel costs. NPC is unable to offer telephone or on-line consultations unless previously paid for by the client/external agency. These consultations are unable to be Medicare-rebated and/or Private Health Fund-rebated and may only be offered on a fee-for-service basis.

Consultations are able to be provided on an outreach basis from NPC's consulting rooms to a referring medical practitioner's rooms/clinic upon invitation or request from the doctor, primarily to enable ease of access to clinical psychology services for the referred client.
