NPC accepts no liability for any negligence, loss, expense or damage arising from your purchase or use of goods/services and/or voluntary use of third party sites.
NPC advises that it has no financial or personal relationship with any Quick Links organisation.
Scope of Practice
NPC has capacity to provide emergency appointments, however, competing clinical priorities may impact and bulk-billing may not be guaranteed.
NPC advises that when a mental health emergency includes self-harming behaviours, suicidal or homicidal ideation/intent, or other decompensation due to licit or illicit substance use and/or due to the onset of significant psychotic symptoms which potentially may compromise one's immediate safety or that of third parties, it will be recommended that you attend your nearest public mental health service and/or hospital emergency department for crisis/risk assessment (where necessary, to enable evaluation by a psychiatrist).
The Director may facilitate or suggest referrals to other organisations if and when a clinical assessment determines that the recommended treatment for a particular issue falls outside NPC's scope of practice.
